When I first moved out to California for school, I remember complaining about how perfect the weather was.  I basked in the occasional rainy day and happily wrapped up in a warm scarf on the few days the temperature dropped below 60°.  California was great, but I missed real weather.  You know, temperatures that changed with the seasons, and actual clouds in the sky.

The Trader Joe's in Burbank sucks.  Actually, that's unfair.  The workers are friendly and the food is yummy and inexpensive, but because of that it's always crowded and the parking lot's full, so I dread going there.

It's a new year, time for recollections and resolutions, and the realization that it's been 14 years since the year 2000 which still seems super weird.  Millenium babies are in high school now, guys.  Crazy.
